Your champions stroll along, slicing and dicing and zapping monsters. I’ll be honest, when I started off, I thought it was too easy. The thing I love most about the game so far is how I just keep discovering more and more layers to it. Plus they have special event characters like, oh, say, Farideh, from the awesome Brimstone Angels series by our very own Dungeon Scrawlers player Erin M. Obsessed? Anyway, the list of champions you get to play is awesome: In their words, you can play characters from digital games (Minsc & Boo, Deekin Scalesinger, Celeste, and Makos), printed novels (like the Companions of the Hall, and Jarlaxle Baenre), and comic and TRPG content (like Birdsong, Barrowin Undurr, and Asharra)! And they’ve even been adding characters from popular streaming shows like Donaar Blit’zen, K’thriss Drow’b, and Rosie Beestinger from Acquisitions Incorporated: The “C” Team! And you get to visit some very familiar places on the Sword Coast. Though that means I now have three separate games going on my PS4, my laptop, and my iPhone.
